A galheta é a única praia de nudismo da ilha de Florianópolis. O nudismo é livre e sem caráter de obrigatoriedade, ou seja , pode-se entrar na praia sem roupa ou vestido normalmente com bermuda, calção,sunga, biquine, etc. Não é obrigado tirar a roupa, como pode ser observado na foto da placa no ínicio da trilha que leva até praia.
