El Divino

I'm a bit confused between El Divino Club, Lounge, Beach Club and Restaurant. Are they all in the same location or are they all different establishments????

Hello, they are different places. El divino beach club is in Jurere Int`l beach. El divino Club is a party place still in Jurere but far away from the beach, i guess restaurant is on the beach also... :D its a very famous place in floripa.

Surf Shops

Kauai Surf Shop in Joaqina has always been incredibly accomodating for my surfing needs. On my first trip, I bought a used board at Kauai which was very reasonable. I seached all of the surf shops around Joaqina and Central, and Kauai had the best deals. Additionally, the owner is willing to give you a deal, as long as you can speak basic Portuguese. I found that it was cheaper to buy a board, than to bring my board to Brazil. On both of my trips, I eneded up bringing back a board. The only downfall is that you have to pay around 50-100/H if you are flying to other surfing destinations.
Floripa canal

Florianopolis in an island that is about 25 miles long with many different beaches strewn every 3 miles or so. each beach has its own distinction...some are deserted with untouched land and lush vegetation, some are a total surf and kite surfing culture, some are local farm and fishing communities, some are hoity toity snobby clubs, some are absolutely family fun time.
if you google earth the florianopolis map, you will see on the right side of the island, there is a beach that is long and slopes to a small fingerlike projection. if you zoom in, you will see a canal that extends from the ocean into the island, connecting with a lagoon. the canal would come in and move like a river, so you could jump in around the mouth of the canal and the current would carry you to the end of this waterway where there was deep green water and rocks to dive off......absolutely stunning.
HERCILIO LUZ BRIDGE

Its construction started in 1922 under the orientation of American engineers and technicians. Its conclusion was in the 13th of May, 1926, not making possible for the governor under whose mandate the bridge was built and whom borrowed his name for the bridge, to see the accomplished construction. It is the only one existing in this style and one of the world’s biggest suspension bridges, being 819 m. long and with two tower 75 m. high from the water level. Nowadays it has been closed to all kinds of traffic flow.
