lagoinha do leste

on an island full of beautiful beaches it is difficult to choose the best. For my money it would have to be lagoinha do leste. it is a beautiful beach beside a lovely lagoon with a bevy of cows watching on. the only draw back (other than inqusitive cows) is that you have to hike a far way to get there. Catch a Panano do Sul bus and ask the driver to let you off before the last stop (tell him where you want to get to and he will know what you are on about). once you get off the bus start walking over a very large hill and down the other side. takes about 40 minutes to an hour (depends how unfit you are) to reach unspoilt beauty that you will likely have to yourself all day.
Praia dos Açores

Located in the south has lots of waves, and the water is colder than in the beaches located in the north side. There aren't many restaurants and bars around nether tourists; it is a great getaway though.
Mole

With cold waters and special waves for the practice of surfing, it is not considered a beach for children and swimming requires caution. It is crowded by the young people, considered the surfers paradise. It offers public parking as well as bars opened at night time.

The islannd of Santa Caterian is one of Brazil's hidden jewels. As more non-South Americans discover the island, it is becoming an international destination. It is so beautiful that everyone will want to visit. There are many comfortable rustic places to stay on the island. The beaches are beautiful and there are endless activities to do like snorkeling, kyaking, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, etc.
