cantinho de Portugal: Stayed at this hotel

Although it was a warm day at night it got really cold so had to have the heaters on
The town is high on mountains so it gets very cold..

Unique Quality: There was a very nice breakfast and interesting plants in the garden and ofcourse beautiful building designed like buildings in Switzerland.

Hotel Monte Bianco: Nice hotel in Capivari

During our weekend trip to Campos do Jordao, this was a very nice and affordable option.

Nice accomodations on this remodelled building make your stay there comfortable and with a "home" atmosphere.

Unique Quality: Well located in Capivari, the fancy centre of Campos do Jordao.

Flat Hotel Palazzo: Everything in a room

Hotel rooms are two bedroom, with kitchen area including microwave oven and other items that are helpful for an extended stay.

Unique Quality: The hotel is quite close to the end of the railway line that connects Campos do Jordão to Pindamonhangaba and Reino das Aguas Claras park. I expect that the hotel is quite expensive during peak travel periods, but we were there in August, and because of the cold temperatures Brazilian tourists were not common here.

Park Hotel Duas Quedas: Charming Chalets (cottages)

This hotel offers an original type of accommodation. It is located inside a real park, surrounded by 2 waterfalls, a lake, flowers and centenarian araucárias. At the time, I stayed with my friends at the 6-person chalet (or was it 8?). Our chalet was very simple but very charming. And the surroundings were very beautiful. It was a group excursion, so I can't tell much about the rates.

Chalets and house are located in a 12,000 m2 area. House linen provided. No meals served.
- 6-person chalet: 3 bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom (shower+WC) and a living-room.
- 8-person chalet: mezzanine, bedroom, living-room, a fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom.
- 10-person house: fireplace, suite room, bedroom, living-room, dining-room, bathroom.
