 | São Paulo Reviews | Tips 51 - 60 of 80 | | I stayed 2 nights at this hostel in São Paulo. This is one of the best I've been in Brazil. Very clean, the common room for girls was really great. Like a big flat, with a "dressing" part with individual lockers and a nice bathroom. It is located in a residential area. The only "weak point" is that you need a 10/15 mn walk from the metro station Praça da Arvore. So if you carry a lot of luggage it's a bit hard !! But I came back at night, being a girl alone, and had no problem. The area seems very safe.
A lot of services are available. For example you can book bus tickets directly at the desk, and they are delivered within the day. A historically 'renovated hotel', this place is near all the action, and safe, at least during the day. Staff does not speak a lot of english, which I thought was good. Great price for SP accomodation.

I just take a bed and breakfast, so i really don't know how the rest of the food is. At that moment the accomodation was not so good , the hotel need to be renovated.
Good to go to the center of town. Leave a Comment

The Hotel Emiliano is one of a few upscale boutique hotels that have opened in São Paulo in the last few years. It's a relief, because this city really used to be kind of a wasteland when it came to high-end hotels. The Emiliano's lobby is almost painfully modern, but the rooms are very luxurious and well-designed. Service is impeccable--I even got a complimentary birthday cake in my mini-bar! Leave a Comment

Renaissance is probably Sao Paulo´s best hotel, located by the financial heart of the city, Paulista Avenue. This region hosts most of the city´s top hotels, like Sheraton, Melia, among many others. If you prefer cheaper accomodation, try one of the many Accor Hotels (French company) like Ibis, Novotel or Mercure. Quality Suites is all over the city too. Blue Tree Flats is a good option... it´s cheap and very good. Leave a Comment
