Some disadvantages staying at this hotel were as follows: There was no coffee and tea maker inside the room, no icemaker on each floor. So when we ordered a bucket of ice we were charged for a small one for 5 Reals and a big one for 11 Reals. They also charge for the internet connection inside the room which was 110 Reals for each week. There was a wifi connection at the lobby that would be for people who prefer to use their laptop in that area. They also had to give us separate billings every 2 weeks, with the room rate they also included some other tourist rate or tax. We had some problem with our internet connection in the room, so they had to change our password every now and then, connection was also slow. They also validated our room card every week, sometimes not telling us in advance so we would use it and it was not valid anymore.
I guess there are no perfect hotels, but I would still say this was one of the safest and newest hotels in the area.
This hotel has a great view of the city, since we're on the 20th floor, we got the best view even of the traffic. They have a heated indoor pool and outside pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The receptionists were also very helpful and spoke english. The buffet breakfast has lots of choices. Even the room service was good, very fast delivery. The maid services were good and they even leave chocolates on our bed!!!!
