I arrived earlier than my family, and the hotel staff was very nice. They checked me in right about 1:00pm, which enabled me to catch a nap before my family arrived.
We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel for 2.5 days, and it was pretty good, a Brasilian buffet each time. Breakfast was included in the hotel rate. I believe I paid about $80 USD per night through Travelocity.
The rooms were a very good size, and the hotel is located just two blocks from Avenida Paulista in the Jardims neighborhood. MASP and Park Trianon were about 2.5 blocks down Avenida Paulista, so not far from the hotel at all.
There were at least two Internet cafes nearby, and plenty of restaurants to choose from, both high-end and more reasonable ones.
We enjoyed the Sunday Market at MASP, as well as some live music and people watching at Parque Trianon that Sunday. I can see why people love life in Sao Paulo. It was very relaxing and nice.
Overall, I felt it was a good value for the price, and much cheaper than other hotels (such as the Renaissance.)
