View from a Spider #2
by morgane1692
Same eight-legged friend, as seen from the *other* side of the glass at Sao Paulo's Modern Art Museum (MAM) on the grounds of Parque Ibirapuera...don't worry, he can't hurt you. That glass is thick, and besides, he's only made of metal...hehehehe...

BY BUS AROUND SÃO PAULO
by schurlif
I may sound snobbish but I never use the public buses.... being so close to others I don't know makes me feel itchy , I prefer my car or , if not possible , I will take a taxi which are very cheap too.....
Hundreds of thousands of Paulistanos depend every day on the bus transportation system though which seems to be highly effective. There are inumerous bus lines and companies that criss cross the city.... My cleaning woman who lives pretty far away manages to arrive on time each day changing the bus only one time. My in laws took the bus once and told me it was a bit confusing finding out where the bus was heading to , so better inform yourself somewhere before boarding the bus , you may end up at the other end of the city.....
Eat under a fig tree
by travelmad478 about Figueira Rubaiyat
A massive fig tree, the largest I've ever seen, is the centerpiece of this restaurant. Tables in an outdoor courtyard (don't worry, it's covered and heated in winter!) surround the immense tree, and you eat under its spreading branches. The vaguely Mediterranean food is very tasty, with grilled meat and fish the specialty. I had my 36th birthday dinner here, and the dulce de leche cake they gave me was a showstopper.
Sunday morning...
by ahoerner
is one of the best days to be in the Ibirapuera Park.
Occasionally you meet your friends during some of the morning music concerts presented there.
Or you can only go there for a walk, some jogging, cycling, skating, or just for beeing there... it is all you need.
