HEADLINES IN THE PAPERS IN A CERTAIN MORNING IN SÃO PAULO :))))
This is what I mostly like when I travel, those stops in the road, where you can buy fresh fruits!
I was going to São Paulo that day with my mother, my aunts Anna and Mercedz, and my great friend Marcio!
The road which links Rio to São paulo is called VIA DUTRA, and there are many interesting palces to stop there!

Getting to Tiete Station
by Lady_Disdain
Great - you are taking a bus to go somewhere else: Rio, the countryside, Porto Alegre - so many options!
But how do you get to the station? By subway! The subway station is actually inside the bus station - just a long hallway down.
You can get in on any subway station - check the wall maps because you want to get to the Blue Line. The Station is Tiete. Once you leave the train, follow the wall signs pointing to "Rodoviária"
mexican Food In Brazil
by apaula about El Kabong Grill
Sooner or later you will find out that Brazilians are not the slightest crazy about Mexican food. Unlike the US, where Chilliýs branches pop in front of you before you can say tortilla, you will have a hard time trying to find a good Mexican restaurant in Sao Paulo and people will see you as an e.t. if you ask for one in Salvador.
Why is that? The first obvious reason is Brazil is much farther from Mexico than US and therefore much less influenced by its culture. Second reason is that Brazil has a strong culinary culture (yes, Iým talking about feijoadas, churrascos and other light local dishes) as well as a significant European influence on the main cities when it comes to restaurants.
But, if you are crazy about Mexican food, you donýt need to panic. There are a few good Mexican restaurants in Sao Paulo and El Kabbong Gril is one of them. It has been in the city for 7 years (a record!) with a bar and a full service restaurant. A good choice is ýLos 3 Amigosý: a combination of a cheese enchilada , a beef taco and a chicken burrito. For the veggies, the Burritos are good but wonýt make you feel any nearer to Frida Khalo.
Food street fairs
by boasnovas
Very interesting when in S?o Paulo is to visit one of the many food?s street fairs that happen through the city specially on residential areas. Around 1:00 pm when they are ready to close, all the vendors start screaming trying to sell their last items.
CEASA has the biggest one that happens on Saturdays and Sundays morning. A huge variaty of vegetables and specially tropical fruits.
