    I spent the better part of a week at Hotel Unique, and had a great time. The workout facility is great, the underground swimming pool truly unique. The rooftop restaurant and bar offer incredible views of Sao Paulo, and the food was wonderful (although the sushi has some room for improvement). The staff must have been sent to charm school, as most were exceptionally freindly and helpful (especially Phillipe at the front desk). I've read that security was a bit aggessive, but I found them to be just fine. There is a separate entrance to the restaurant upstairs for non-guests, and the hotel elevator will not operate without a room key. The hotel is in close proximity to Bienal do Ibirapuera (close enough to walk) where they host art exhibits, consumer shows, and in our case a car show called Salao de Tuning.

    Rooftop pool and terrace offer incredible views at night. Architecture and decor is first class. Food - wonderful. Round windows in room that open, great showers and folding glass doors next to the jacuzzi tub that open into the sleeping area (standard room). Giant slide that enters the underground pool from the locker room area.
