Sao paulo Airport buses

by Maynardmalti

Please can you tell me which airport bus goes from Garhouls International Airport to Hotel Travel Inn Braston São Paulo address Rua Martins Fontes, 330 - Consolação
São Paulo (São Paulo), 01050-000
Brazil.
I would really appreciate your help and how much does this cost.
Is there any buses going to Santos ferry terminal from this hotel or nearby and how much

I believe you are refering to Guarulhos airport instead of Garhouls airport.
Your hotel is near to Praça da Republica. You may use Passaro Marron Bus Company. I am sending to you the link concerned in this company:

http://www.demanda.com.br/airbus.htm#2i

The fare is R$24,00 and timetable shows there are buses every half hour except on small hours...

To go to Santos you may use subway. Jabaquara Subway Station is a Bus Station as well. And at this Bus Station you may find many buses going to Santos.
The ferry you have refered to may be the transportation from Santos to Guaruja.
Guarujá is very close to Santos and there are many buses connecting both cities.
The beaches from Guarujá are better. On Praça da Republica you will find the subway station to go to Jabaquara Station...

There's also a bus from the airport that costs less than R$4 and goes to Tatuapé Metro Station (subway). Go to the República Station, from there get a cab (http://migre.me/Jil - have this map printed with you), the cab is gonna cost you less than R$10.

Travel Tips for São Paulo

Sao Paulo is safer than Rio

by maryellen50

People always ask about the crime in Sao Paulo considering it is the 2nd largest city in the world. Having been to both Rio and Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo is definitely safer and less crime - and published statistics show Sao Paulo with less crime per capita. I have been to Sao Paulo twice (traveling alone) and always felt reasonably safe whereever I have visited.

A CATHOLIC CENTRE IN BRAZIL

by RafaelTheSecond

The State of São Paulo holds the World's Second Basilica, located in Aparacida do Norte, very interesting little town in the edge of Paraiba River, one of the little cities of the Paraiba Valley in the Southern Region of Brazil.

The Basilica is called Santuario de Aparecida!

Airport to Placa Republica or Paulista

by penpoison

If you need a fairly reasonable way to arrive to the Placa Republica or the Paulista area, take the airport shuttle bus and then walk to your hotel. If you by chance meet up with another person who is also waiting for the bus, split the cost with a cab to the airport. The cost is comparable to taking the shuttle bus with less stops and less time.

For tea or just a delicious dessert

by Lady_Disdain about Petit France

This is a small patisserie near MASP and Paulista.

The desserts are excellent (it is voted best patisserie and dessert in São Paulo nearly every year) and it has a very wide selection. Croissants, quiches and other savoury treats are very good as well.

The tea house is not large, but well decorated. The outside tables are very pleasant for a morning cup of coffee (you can find me there on Saturdays, with a cup of hot chocolate and the newspaper).

Sanots Beaches, Brasil

by Anne-Charlotte

Santos is a very interesting place that I got to go 2 when I went to Brasil. Not too far from Sao Paulo and recommended if you can't make it 2 Rio (which I couldn't).
Pros: Shopping areas close by, white sand beaches, fairly pretty area.
Cons: Port so lots of large ships coming in constantly, somewhat polluted.
