So close to the frantic city, and yet so far away!
by morgane1692
You can clearly see Sao Paulo's highrise buildings all around you here, but PARQUE IBIRAPUERA is a fine refuge from the chaos. Just be careful when you stray from the winding paths themselves, as we noticed a number of gargantuan antmounds scattered about...which makes sense, I suppose, what with that mutant spider encased in the adjacent museum..
MORRO DO URUBU - MOGI DAS CRUZES
by RafaelTheSecond
This is my first picture after I came back to Brazil from my canadian journey and after more than 12 hours flying, and I went to the top of the highiest mountain of the Mogi das Cruzes city, in the State of São Paulo. I went there with some friends including my greatest friend Iris Nakamura and my mother to some ecological actions...I was tired but I did have fun!;)

Convenient Airport Connections
by glabah
Airport Bus Service is the name of a company (yes, the name is in English, but don't let that fool you) that provides excellent transportation options between major transportation hubs in the city of S?o Paulo.
I have used this service to go between the two major S?o Paulo airports ( Guarulhos and Congonhas ) to connect between international and local flights. However, the company also serves several of the main intercity bus terminals in S?o Paulo as well.
Therefore, don't look at the S?o Paulo International Airport at Guarulhos as your only transportation hub when you arrive in this city. It is possible to get economical connections to the rest of the southern part of the country, no matter if by bus or plane, without having to wait for that rare domestic Brazilian flight that leaves the Guarulhos airport - as most flights to and from that airport are internatinal.
Suggestion:
If you don't know Portuguese, find a trustworthy local who is going the same direction, as most of the bus people speak only very limited English.
Dizzzzzzyingly cool pizza and more!
by morgane1692 about pizza VERIDIANA
*****Sort of a split-level interior, lots of wood and greenery and a fireplace in one corner which will come in reeeeally handy if you go there on a chilly autumn or winter evening...You'll likely spend a little time at the bar first, waiting for a table, but that's just fine, the yummy caipiroskys and other cocktails are as nicely-priced as the excellent pizza. And the pizza, let's just spell this one with a very capital "P," shall we?!?! The most ingenious combinations of toppings, not a trace of any pepperoni or green pepper or other "traditional" items on the menu...;)))***** *****I do have verrry fond memories of that remarkable ricotta-like cheese they use. Such a lovely departure from the 'ole mozzarella, you know...mmmmmmmmm!!*****
A green area in the middle of a busy city
by LucyInTheSky
That's the place where people from Sao Paulo can scape from the busy and crazy city...it's great for picnics, jogging, walks, sunbathing, cycling and other sports. The scenery is very beautiful, and the atmosphere is relaxing. For adults, children, dogs, it's just perfect.
