Liberdade - the brazilian...

Liberdade - the brazilian japan. Sao Paulo is a festival of different cultures as you'll notice while you walk down the streets. The Liberdade neighbourhood, for instance, is the japanese neighbourhood of the city. You can see menus, boards, everything in japanese, you hear japanese on the streets and it gets to such a point I was unable to buy some stuff at the market because I couldn't speak japanese and the lady couldn't speak portuguese! Check it out - people say here you can get the best from Japan in much lower price! The stores are really amazing, I have to say....
This picture was borrowed from the Feira da Liberdade site. You can check more like this there, and also a brief history of the neighbourhood in english.

The best way how to travel in Sao Paulo is to have your own car. If you don´t have your car, itœ litlle bit complicated, but anyway you can hire a car in a Airport in Sao Paulo.....
If you don´t have enought money .... just use the bus!!!
It is not so comfortable ... but what do you want, if you don´t money : - )
Bus isn´t danger , but you will be a little suprised...principaly if you´re from USA
And the last tip: If you are a blond....take a hat to bus..

ART MUSEUM OF SÃO PAULO - MASP
by martinelli
First of all it's located in the most famous avenue in Latin America, Avenida Paulista. There you can see wonderful shows of architecture. The MASP building is a masterpiece. It was idealized by the wonderful Architect Lina Bo Bardi. Second of all, it holds anumber of art pieces that you should definately get to know. And don't you dare walk home without a poster or thousands of postcards!
