Brazil is a huge country and the climate at that time can vary radically between north and south. You would have to be much more specific about where you intend to travel. Some places will have beach weather and some places will be too cool to go to the beach comfortably, if that is your goal. April/May is usually considered low season insofar as price of accomodation and crowds are concerned.
I went to Sao Paulo to celebrate christmas with a brazillian family. It was a totally new experience for me and most of my new impressions where made inside a small family house Sao Paulo. Brazillian people love celebrations and party and are allways welcoming new friends. No matter where you from!
This amazing park was created in 1976,with the main objective of trying to maintain the waters of the Tiete banks on their borders,and avoid the many and tragic inundations of some areas in Sao Paulo city!
You can get lost there, it is indeed enormous, but quite organized and with many facilities like a subway station. the Terminal tiet~e is one of the few places in Brazil where you can go to any destination in the country!
Travelling by bus in Brazil is much more common than travelling by train.
Some days after my arrival from Canada I stopped in São Paulo to welcome my canadian friend Mike, and I left my mother there to continue her trip to Rio.
Most interesting fare can be found in the three types of restaurant that define eating out in Brazil: the beer garden, the steak and barbecue house, and the pizzeria. Excellent Brazilian draft beers on tap, Antartica is up there for me.
Waiters shuttle around the tables, serving different cuts of meat.
Some do say that you can get a better pizza in São Paulo than you can back in Italy.
If you want know about Sao Paulo History you must see this station that was very important to city,the build was contructed in 1900 and help make city grow up, many immigrants from another city arrive in Sao Paulo By Train, 50 meters far its "Pinacoteca do Estado" , is nice place do see brazilian paints e know about Brazilian Art, you can find paints from XIX to nowadays.
