Huge city with many interesting places to visit
by maryellen50
It is a very big city with many things to see and do. I have visited Sao Paulo last year and stayed here only 12 hours this trip en route on TAM airlines to Miami. Nice weather and the people are friendly although sometimes the language (Portugues) is a barrier.

by Valderez
Here in São Paulo we have The Guarapiranga lake, there is a spetacular sailing place.
We have some clubs near there, and I like Clube Indiano.
This club has all of sports kinds, like tennis, squash, futboll, snooker, voley, basket, etc...
I prefer nautical kinds, If you will be here, try to know there

by cochinjew about ASPARAGUS RESTAURANT
This place has a good and a varied Salad Bar, this in a town famed for its salad bars.
Fixed Price.
You serve yourself from the buffet, various vegetarian dishes, all needless to say with a brasilian touch
fruit juices. Dessert is included in the price
The atmosphere is that of a cafeteria and during the lunch time it was crowded The wonderful salad bar..
the price of eating out in sao paolo is ridiculously low taking into consideration this is a world class city with world class dining, as long as you avoid, restaurants near big hotels frequented by foreign businessmen..
Mamma D´Oro
by martinelli about Mamma D´Oro
Excelent food, good price, in one of the most taditional italian neighbourhoods in Sao Paulo. I suggest you go there on the weeked, so you can browse the outdoor antiques fair then go for a grub at Mamma D´Oro´s while listening to a wonderful live concert of choro, the brazilian jazz. (or should I say ' jazz, the american choro'?) Penne with funghi secchi
