In Manaus, and many other parts of Brazil, the female/male ratio is very uneven, with significantly more females. If youre out shopping or something and sit down for a drink and youre a foreign male, dont be surprised if local women come up to you and ask you out. Its just the way things are over there. Whatever your answer may be to them asking you out, dont be surprised if this happens.
