Pousada Iguana: Impressive!
I had been to Brazil but never to Canoa Quebrada. I remember friends saying it was "the craziest beach in Brazil". That's all my boyfriend needed to hear. We arrived in Canoa after renting a car in Fortaleza and headed to Pousada Iguana because we heard a bunch of Americans own it. We didn't see any Americans but we did see plenty of Brazilians from Fortaleza on vacation. Our room had a nice sea view in a very comfortable room. Great bed, great shower. Apparently they have only been open a year. The hotel had a nice pool, fancy breakfast and a huge garden but to be honest we didn't have much time to enjoy it. We were to busy doing our thing like swimming at the beach, taking an awesome buggy rid and riding horses. We are also avid joggers and the hotel is right there on the dunes. Sunset jogs through the dunes were magical. What about the craziest beach title? I don't know about craziest in brazil but after our friday and saturday night of dancing in the local clubs until the sun came up they may have a point.
Unique Quality: Pool was beautiful as was the whole place. Really nice gardens. We enjoyed the breakfast most of all. They made our eggs anyway we wanted. Over-easy one day, pouched another day, hard boiled another and on our last day a delicious tomato omelet.

Pousada Do Toni: Pousada Do Toni
My stay at Pousada Do Toni was very enjoyable. The pousada is set high on a hill overlooking the beautiful beach of Canoa Quebrada offering stunning views over the rugged landscape, town, beach and sea.
The staff at the pousada were very accomodating and as there was a large group of us staying, offered us discounts and allowed us to share rooms to cut down the price even more, even supplying us with hammocks to accomodate more people in one room. Even still, the price is still resonable. We shared a room between 3 of us and paid around €9 a night B&B for a large room. The pousada has very good facilities with a roof top pool and deck area and a roof top bar and restaurant from where you can enjoy the views.
The pousada also has a good location close to the centre of town and the beach while still maintaining its own privacy and the noise from the main streets bars and clubs can not be heard from the pousada. All rooms have a mini bar, fan, air con and ensuite bahtroom and shower.

Very cozy Pousada near Broadway and with an excellent view of the sea!

Luxury Place (paying little money)
After some relax time, Cuchi (one of my friends) and I went to find a special place to stay some days in Canoa. We walk and walk and finally found The Place: a wonderful house with big swimmingpool, big bed, big balcony, big jacuzzi........paying few reales ;)
We were really shock with such a nice place.
What we did there?? Just have fun
Unique Quality: Swimmingpool: with some dolphins draws and with bar!!!
Balcony: great view, wonderful sunsets
kitchen: confortable to prepare what you want
Living: to relax drinking some cold beer
Jacuzzi: just Huauuuuuuuu!!!
Breakfasts: makes you feel completely full
The entrance to the house: So pretty
Service: Friendly as ussual :)

Pousada Toby: Canoas Little Castle
This pousada is a nice and clean little place, owned by 2 danes; Frank and Torben, they built the house them selves. They too run the bar "Tudo Mundo" on Broadway!
Unique Quality: The rooms are tastfully decorated, and they serve a good breakfast. (when i was there, from 8-16.00!!) The pousada is situated on top of the town, with a fantastic view from some of the rooms, and the roof, where you will also find a little swimmingpool.

Pousada do toby is a nice little hotel with a swimming pool on the roof.
rooms are nice and clean and have private bathroom.
