The sinking Golden Tulip
This is a 3-4 star hotel located at the end of Beira Mar beach walk. The rooms are a little small for a 4 star hotel, but they do have mini-bar, cable t.v. and most important Air conditioning. It has a pool, with fitness room, and all the other amenities you would expect.
Unique Quality: The part about it is the fact that it is across the street from the 50 Sabores Ice Cream Shop! Check my Restaurant tips! It is also at the end of the Beira Mar beach walk so you can easily walk down to any number of good restaurants and the craft market in the evening.
It has a great view of the beach and the ocean so if you can get a room on one of the upper floors.
The bit about "the sinking tulip" is because a friend of mine from Fortaleza told me that they were having problems with the building sinking due to it being built on the beach side of the road, I did not see any indications though... just thought it was funny.ha ha
