Sheraton, Iguassu: Good views
Great view and location, staff was good - otherwise very ordinary, very tired hotel for the name and price. The key wouldn't open my door, there was no electricity in my room, and as it was very humid and I was tired after walking around the falls, it would have been nice to have air conditioning. Also the safe would not work. All of these problems were fixed reasonably quickly by the staff, but it would have been better not to have occurred at all.
Had a meal in the restaurant, which was very good and the bar service was OK.

Hotel Das Cataratas: short walking distance to the Falls !
The Hotel das Cataratas is located in the centre of the Iguaçu National Park, surrounded by tropical nature alongside the famous Iguaçu Falls. It has about 203 bedrooms and is buildt in colonial-style, looking oldfashioned, but charming, yet badly needing some refurbishment. As the only hotel inside the Brazilian National Park,it is a unique spot for everybody wishing to visit the magnificent Iguaçu Falls.
The rooms are rather large and equipped with basic amenities; as the hotel is a one-story-building, the ways to the rooms are rather long and winding.
Unique Quality: The old style may be an unique quality, as the rooms are large and rather high; the most convenient advantage being the closeness to the falls and the distance to the helipads, being on the other side of the falls. Yet the noise of the many sightseeing-helicopters from dusk to dawn is a major disadvantage !

Sheraton Internacional Iguazu Resort-Argentina: Worth the splurge
If you are looking for convenience and money is not an issue, this is the best place to stay when visiting Iguacu Falls. It is located inside the Argentinean national park and many of the rooms have a good view of the waterfalls. While having breakfast or lunch on the hotel terrace, signs warn guests not to feed any monkeys. Many species of birds can be easily observed as well. The hotel has a pool, two tennis courts, a fitness center, two restaurants and a travel agency. The travel agency doubles as a tourist information center, offering free advice to guests and non-guests alike.
Staying at this hotel will make your visit to Iguacu Falls more bearable because it is only a short distance from most of the main viewpoints on the Argentinean side. You also won’t have to worry about getting to the park in the morning. You can come back to the room to take a shower and change your clothes before exploring more of the park. This part of the world can get awfully humid between October and March, so it’s not uncommon to be covered in sweat by noon. .

Tropical Das Cataratas: The Best View
The Tropical das Cataratas Hotel & Resort is close to what nature has best to offer. Here you will find absolute respect for fauna and flora. One will face the astonishing spectacle of Iguassu Falls and is the only hotel located at the core of the Iguassu National Park.
The Tropical das Cataratas Hotel & Resort is located only 15 Km from the Cataratas International Airport and 25 Km from the city of Foz do Iguassu.
Unique Quality: We checked into this colonial-style hotel called Tropical Hotel das Cataratas located in the park. It was painted pink outside and the surrounding scenery was so neat and so beautiful. The restaurant bar has an outdoor patio which have a lone palm tree where families of colorful birds make their nests. So much activities up on that tree. Then from our room we could hear the roar of the falls and we could see a little peak of it.
