Famous Torta de Banana

If you come to Jeri, don't let the opportunity of trying the famous torta de banana (banana cake) of Tia Angelita!! Everybody knows where she lives so you won't have any difficulties in finding her. You see locals stroll the streets with trays filled with this delicacy.
In case you are too lazy to move while you are on the beach, dona Rosa saves you the effort. She is there every afternoon offering her daily fresh torta de banana.
Those who taste it once will not miss a single day of having one. Well, at least one :)
Sandboarding

Rent a sandboard and have some fun! You don't need to be an expert, I did it for the very first time in my life and I was quite able to keep balance. Watch out: some parts of the dunes are too steeeeeeep...! CRASH! OUCH!
The board costs 8 reais an hour.

Facts:due to its geographical position (furthest north spot of Ceara's coast,with sea to the east and west side!!),you can see from here both,SUNSETS and SUNRISES from the sea,as well as MOONSETS and MOONRISES!!
Imagine the magic of it,considering there's no streets lamps!!

Jericoacoara was once named one of the top 10 beaches in the world. I would be hard pressed to put it in the top 10 in Brazil. But, in spite of some problems with seaweed, it still has some decent beaches to explore. The relative isolation of Jericoacoara also makes it easy to forget about the rest of the world and enjoy the simple pleasures of the beach such as the sand between your toes, the sound of the surf rolling in, and the warmth of the sun on your shoulders. And, there are all those sand dunes to climb and to slide, tumble, or jump down.
Por do Sol from the big Dune

Every traveler in Jeri have to sea a sunset from the big dune on the Jeri beach cause in Brasil is not usual ( on the Atlantic ocena ther is the sunrise), but Jeri is in a position where you can see it!
You climb the dune, wait the sunset, do some pics drinking a beer and at the end you can jump down the dune or do sundboard with a send board.
