Hi! Im just back from Jeri this week! Pousada Bangalo is pretty nice and afordable! You can see the picts here (http://www2.uol.com.br/mochilabrasil/pousadabangalo.shtml)
their phone nbr is (88) 3669-2075 .
The owner was charging, now in the low season, 40,00 reais for a couple with breakfast included.
You can try also Pousada Por do Sol

Travel Tips for Jericoacoara

white and blue

by DrLeoLocke

one thing that i remember it s the color contrast . when you go trough a sand road, before enter Jericoacoara s town you can see a beautifull view that includes white sand dunes and blue sky . it s very great...it appears that you are in a desert, and after that became oasis! great! sun very hot
water blue
blue sky

Windsurfing

by sabrina_florida

Someone in Jeri told me that it's becoming a popular destination for Europeans who like windsurfing, as the wind and sea are very good to do it. Still, if you would like to learn, there are some windsurfing schools.

One might need some extra days...

One might need some extra days to find and enjoy the distant village of Jericoacoara, some 300 kms north-east of Fortaleza, but it is absolutely worth it...

Jericoacoara Beach

by pure1942

The beach in Jeri is stunning. It stretches out in front of Jeri village and beyond. In fact the nicest areas of the beach are further down the coast away from the village itself. you can find some great secluded beaches where you have some space and privacy to enjoy the sea, beach and views. Even at the busiest time of the year you will be able to find a place to call your own :) To the north of the main beach is the magnificent Sunset Dune over which you can walk down the coast to the hidden Lagoons and more isolated beaches. To the south around the natural headland you will find beaches with secluded areas marked out by natural rock. Absolute paradise!
The beaches of Jericoacoara were listed by the Washington Post as one of the top 10 beaches in the world!!!

Wind activity in Preà Beach

by ludogatto

A lot of people came here to do wind activity....the wind here is strong and perfect for windsurf in the Jeri bay, but in Preà beach is the home of the kiter.....the wind is much mure strong and there is a kite center that can help you, they have a boat to find you in the waves and a buggy to collect your kite when he fly away alone!
