Best Place to Stay!!
This place was WONDERFUL!!! The staff was so wonderful, accomodating, and friendly. Some didn't speak English but were there to help with a ready smile. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with private bathrooms and plenty of hot water in the shower stalls. The best part about this hotel was the breakfast, which consisted of juices, coffee, milk, dozens of pastries, eggs, and bread. A wonderful way to begin a long day of exploring the waterfalls! The owner, Ricardo, speaks English and will arrange for transportation to and from the falls. I recommend, however, if you are able, to take the bus to the Brasilian side, as it is much cheaper. If you are going to the Argentine side, take Ricardo's help...it is a quicker and smoother trip with his transportation. If you ask, he can also arrange a car to and from the airport.
For a midday snack, take a right out of the hotel entrance and walk a few yards up the street and then take a right onto that first road. There is a little bakery on the right that has divine cafe con leite and beautiful little pastries and sweets.
By all means...stay at this hotel!!!

Great location & price + friendly staff
I loved my stay at Hotel Baviera! It's located at the town of Foz, at a main street. Plenty of restaurants around, and only about 5 minutes walk to the town center. The owner speaks excellent english and is very friendly! The prices are very reasonable and rooms big and clean ! The rest of the staff are very friendly (and so is the whole town!)
