Stay Away !
I stayed at Hotel Foz de Iguaçu during 4 days and I will really remember it...
Gosh this place was SO weird, we had nicknamed it " The 4th dimension"...
The staff was really unfriendly and would speak to us only in Spanish (even if I speak Portuguese). The door of the room wouldn't open. The food was absolutly disgusting and it seemed that if you leave something in your plate you have to pay 5$ !!
There are phones in the lobby... from which you can call only the lobby !!! Interesting...
The room is average. The hotel is located on the main avenue of Foz but it's not really useful since there is nothing exciting downtown. Better to stay closer to the falls.
I don't really know the price since I bought it in a package but as you understood i don't recommand it... except if you enjoy weird experiences !
