Travel Tips for Natal

Blow the Car Horn - Always!

by madvex

Using the Horn in your car in the states - well, it means something. In Brazil.. it's debatable as to if it means anything at all. Much like speaking, horn usage requires context in Brazil. Use it to say "hello", "get out of my way", "you're cute", "I'm passing you", "you're in my lane", "look @ me, I have a horn", etc. LOL..

Basically.. blow your horn for any reason and for no reason at all and you'll fit right in.

Praia da Pipa - (Pipa's Beach)...

by mocneto

Praia da Pipa - (Pipa's Beach) - Surelly you heard about Pipa. It's a different beach, that people from all arround the world mixture together. It's common get to Pipa like a tourist and start to live there. Pipa was a inaccessible town of Fishermans that now is the town of the world.

Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil

"Ponta Negra"

Don't believe all you read. I read allsorts of horror stories before going, but never felt unsafe or threatened day or night, on my own or with my friends. Natal is the safest city in Brazil with the cleanest air in the world.

"Pipa"

A fantastic cosmopolitan, friendly place. Great bars & restaurants, comes to life after dark.
