Hello.
I will need to travel from the Porto Alegre airport to Campo da Canoa. I understand that I need to take a taxi from the Airport to the bus station, then a take a bus to Campo da Canoa. Can anyone please tell me how much the taxi cost would normally be, and also which bus I will need to take to get to Campo da Canoa. and any other information about the bus schedule, how often they depart, and the cost of a ticket, etc.

Thank you for your reply, but where I need to travel to is not Canoas but Capao da Canoa (I made a mistake in the original spelling). I estimate that it is approximately 100 kilometers from Porto Alegre. Thanks

Sunsets in PoA are very very special .... maybe better than Puerto Vallarta Mexico!
And to see a soccer match at the Olympic Stadium defies description ... for the first timer though make sure you do NOT go to a match against Colorado. Violence is almost guaranteed. The food (Churrascarias) and the drinks (cachaca) .... both are just excellent and not found exactly like this anywhere else in the world!

the avarage Summer temp is between 25C and 35C
in Winter it's a different kettle of fish..can be cold, frost is known but avarage 2C to 12C
the Entrance of Parque Farroupilha..on of the oldest Parks in Porto Alegre and Cherrytree Blossom in Spring, orf the Ipe Tree, are one of the most vivid memory I have of this City
driving along the guaiba through a very rich neighbourhood (sort of Beverly Hills) and suddenly there was this indegeous people village of plastic houses
i was speakless of the contrast

Located in Floresta district, this peculiar shopping inaugurated in 2003 counts with the annex building that used to be a famous brewery( Brahma ). The place includes a harmonious set of seven blocks and the traditional chimney, integrating the new design with the old architecture from the beginning of last century, represented by four restored buildings that used to be part of the former Brahma brewery. It has about 500 stores ,among lots outlets (off-price )stores like Rebook’s Megastore are there at Total the microbrewery Brauhaus and the cellar of Vinícola Aurora.It is a complete infrastructure for shopping, gastronomy ( bars and restaurants) and for leisure and entertaining, five cinemas stand out, and for children, a playland (games play room).All of it served by seven lifts, two escalators and a sophisticated fire prevention system.
A highlight of the project is the very beautiful buildings designed by German architect Theo Wiederspahn, built from 1911 to 1914, indelibly marking the city.
The terrain has 54,000 square metres, but the built area occupies 63,000 square metres – from which 42,000 square metres are new areas.

Located at Matriz Square,it was made in France by the brazilian artist Decio Villlares (1851-1931) and inaugurated in 1913.Positivist conception, represent the three most significant stages of the life of the statesman: the Republican Marketing, the Organization of the Government and the stage following the withdrawal of the Government. It has 22.5 m high.
