Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana - Cultural CentreBuilding in a neoclassical style, built in the beginning of the century, project by the german Theo Wiederspahn. The former Magestic Hotel was once the residence for the famous gaúcho poet Mário Quintana. Restored in 1990, it is now one of the biggest cultural centers in Latin America. When visiting, go to the Majestic Cafe on the top floor with an excelent view of the city center. Visitations on Tuesdays thru Fridays, from 9:00 to 20:00, and on the weekend, from 9:00 to 18:00.
