About jumping from escuna to Joao Fernandes waters
Hi there people,
does anyone know if there is a gym in Buzios. Would like to get some weight training sessions included while i'm there

I got some news for you. I had been in Buzios/BR twice but never search for gym in town. Let me list the news:
1) Pousada Repouso das Flores has a agreement with Academia do Bosque. The
The hosts from Pousada use free the gym.
Academia do Bosque is at Av J B Ribeiro Dantas, 1315
2) There's 3 other gyms in Buzios:
* Marta Vieira; Geribá;
* Mazza; Estrada da Usina; downtown
* Spazzio Ferradura; Praia da Ferradura

You must do a boat tour of all the beaches - make sure you cover all of them (can be done in a half day).
You also MUST take another boat tour to see the Prainhas in Arraial do Cabo (see photo). This is another half day. Skip the tours that also include lunch and Cabo Frio.
I didn't do this one, but heard that there is a "mirante" in Buzios, where you can see the whole "island" - it is supposed to be incredible.
I could enjoy of this calm, warm-water beach because of the excursion with the escuna (a boat that takes tourists into a number of beaches). Then it stopped in front of it for visitors to get into the water and swim a bit.
By the way, swimming in here could be more delighting than in Joao Fernandes or Joao Fernandinho, where the waters are much colder.
What I also liked of this beach is all of the vegetation that surrounded it, giving the sensation to be in a lost paradise in the middle of the jungle. Other beaches like Geribá or Joao Fernandes (which have more houses and restaurantes built along its coasts) doesn´t have that much of vegetation.
