I was told that Joao Fernandes was the most popular beach in Buzios. The beach is not large, but after being there, I could understand the reason of its good reputation: its waters are blue and clear, it has almost no tides and the white sand just invites you to get in! It's ideal for those wanting to just swim a bit. However, it is also the most crowded, especially by tourists (several hotels are around) and sellers (some of them annoying).
I also found that the best seafood restaurants are in here (see Restaurants tip).

"Don't miss Búzios if you go to Brazil!!!!!"

Búzios is a small peninsula that belongs to Río de Janiero.
It has more than 20 beautiful beaches.
It has a great weather the whole year and is the ideal place to forget that a world exists.
it's interesting to see local people.....and also the "corn salesman" offering corn to eat while you're tanning in the sand.
