Love this site.........but have you looked on the Trip Advisor Buzios forum or on their hotel reviews? They are likely to have the most info.
Unles someone with first-hand knowlwedge weighs in, you're likely to get a bunch of unintelligible websites in Portuguese here these days.

Ferradura Beach is a bay with crystal clear and calm waters all the time. The left corner has several bars that serve delicious seafood appetizers.
There are several mansions along the beach overlooking the ocean. There are windsurfing lessons and board rentals, banana-boat and ski. The water is usually a bit cold.
