...when I was in Buzios about 5 years ago we stayed in a pousada, ours was very nice and they spoke some english, but its not in the "center" of the action. The service was excellent. I really have no recollection of the cost, though. It was a short walk to one beach . There are tons of choices for pousadas in Buzios. I found the website in like a second, I am surprised I remembered the name:

I am not a good diver as Elton is, but I had the pleasure to swim in these clear waters, it is really unique for visitors being in a special place like this!
Ilha Feia is something unique, you can also rent a boat with the fishermen to spend more time there, with the boat tours you are only allowed to stay there for 25 minutes!
When you go to Buzios, do your best to go to Ilha Feia!;)

it is a nice place to stay a coule of nights, the beach is not nig, but Buzios is diveded in several places. food on the beach is great, and the weather is good it is a nice place to sunbathe an swim and get into contact with people
