Ace Hostel
I stayed in Ace backpacker hostel whilst in Rio
Beds are basic in the 4 bed dorms but staff are friendly and helpful and its a good place for meeting people
There is a bar from which to start getting in the mood for the evening
The location is ok if you dont mind that you will take a bus to Copacabana and Ipanema areas but this is easy and quick (less than 10 mins)
Unique Quality: This is no 5 star hotel but if you are used to hostels then Its a cheap place to stay and you will feel safe and have the help of the staff
You will also be staying in an area that feels a little more local rather than full of tourist hotels
