ROBERTA, A COOL FRIEND IN RIO
for sure staying in a hostel is the ebst way to understand life in a typical neighborhood. And rio has some cool options here in Urca, in Copacabana and Ipanema as well.
Urca is more residential and there is not means of accomodation but the hostel, so you will feel unique, and part of the people who live in Urca!
Unique Quality: Roberta, works there, and she will be the one who will make your life easier in Rio, she speaks good english and she is such a great and funny person, she knows alot about what is hot and neat to do in the city!
Ahhhh the hostel has airport picking up!

THE HOSTEL HAS A CYBER CAFE
Some of the greatest advantages of Carioca are the cyber café and gthe great source of information about where to go and what to do. This hostel will give you all the assistance you need!

VERY PLEASANT AND RELAXING HOSTEL
It is a mix of hostel and guest house, everytime I go there I feel like home, in the back yard you can relax under a welcome shade, and enjoy the fresh air of their plants!
Unique Quality: Cool place for reading and plan your activities in Rio, and a nice spot for sleeping, do not forget that you can also have a private room for you, you wuill pay a little bit more, but you can talk with the manager Roberta, she is an incredible person and will give you the first greetings of our exciting city of Rio!

STAYING IN RIO LIKE IN A TOWN VILLAGE
Well, if you want to meet travellers in Rio and stay in a very informal environment, this is the best option for sure!
The Easy hostel is located in Urca, it is an island of peace in the big and busy Rio, the neighborhood is really charming and very traditional, it is in fact one of the ebst districts of Rio!
Unique Quality: They will charge you in Reais and this will be very cheap for you, the dorms are excelent, all provided by hot showers, and they have a nice swimming pool, you can use the kitchen, it is very nice for sure!

Pros :
- Excellent location, situated right below the Sugar Loaf Mountain, in the quiet and safe Urca neighbourhood
- Warm and relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
- Huge breakfast of bread, spread, fruits, tea, coffee, etc... included
- Great living room and courtyard
- Just 10 minutes by bus to Copacobana beach
- Near to 3 big shopping centres
- Near to a few nice, peaceful beaches
- Beds are very comfortable
- Lockers available
Cons :
- Showers are few and tiny
