Best Service Anywhere
Right away, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful and assisted us with everything. The hotel, although old had all the basics for a comfortable stay: Good bed, good shower, comfortable sized room and bathroom, nice TV with international channels and Internet access. The sheets were very clean and the room itself, again, although outdated, was clean and cleaned daily during our stay. It also had fan and air conditioning and an elevator. Again, the staff was attentive to everything we needed, bringing silverware and even running to the bank for us! Good general location. 2 min walk to Copocabana beach and close to Ipanema beach as well. Overall, very good value for money compared to prices charged by other hotels. Not a luxury hotel, but if you just looking for comfort and good value for money, then this is good option.
