stayed for 1 week in august 2010 and had no problems at all, all staff spoke english and help me with all my enquiries and tickets for events in the city. Not a bad word to be said about the breakfast and the location was perfect, being bearly 50 meters from Copacabana beach. Room was spacious with tv, modern bathroom and comfy bed. For the price it was excelent value and would stay there again
Unique Quality: hotel staff very polite and helpful
Directions: located north to the north of copacabana beach, beside the 5 star hotel the JW Marriot
Yup, it's me asking a Travel Question. In Rio, third week of October, we shall be. Three Hotels that were suggested, not so much by VT'ers, but by the Hotels themselves. Any comments on these?
I've been poring over y'alls pages getting ideas, and some of them are fantastic. Thank you! If there might be a chance anyone would like to meet up, you'll meet 2 VT'ers for the space of one! ;O)
I've stayed in the Luxor, which is a decent, unexceptional, inexpensive and well-located 3*. For independent reviews by users, go to www.tripadvisor.com.
