Porto Seguro - Posada Portugal

Very clean and spacious rooms with A/C, TV, pritave bath. Very comfortable. Great breakfast included. Location is quite good, several blocks back from teh shore front. There are more central posadas, but it's only a 5-10min. walk to any attractions in the centre of Porto Seguro from here. Clean, good breakfast, very convenient to bus terminal and an easy 5 minute bus ride from the city centre. Recommendable. There is a guy who lives in the hotel (May 2001) who does tours to the Amazon. He speaks fluent English and comes from Guyana originally. DON'T do the tour with him. He's all talk and don't trust him. I forget his name.
