Al Fin del Mundo Hostal

This hostal is situated in a private house in a quiet street of Punta Arenas. Just two blocks away from the main square of the town: Plaza Munoz Gamero. Also some restaurants on walkable distance, among them the well known ‘La Luna’.

The first floor has a living room and a breakfast room and a couple of guest rooms. On the second floor are more guest rooms and the two (shared) bath rooms. We had our room on this floor and it was very small, almost without day light !!

Breakfast was very basic and more or less self service and self supporting. The owner (although sometimes friendly) didn’t have any interest in his guests and was not helpful at all.
