Great location

One of top hotels in the 80, it still has the charm of a grand hotel. Great location and easy to reach by all means of transportation. Popular with cruise passengers, and airline staff. Cozy Trafalgar bar and piano ambiance. Great views of city

Good Santiago stay

Very nice high rise, overlooking Santiago. Enjoyed the view from the 22nd floor. Super restaurant, very clean, typical Crowne Plaza standards.

Unique Quality: Excellent lounge on the top floor for visitors, very good restaurant on the ground floor for everyone.

Well located comfortable hotel

This hotel is a very comfortable quite luxurious place to stay. Quite overpriced but with good service and with great views of the Andes, especially if you stay on the 21st or 22nd floor.

Unique Quality: Its well located and offers the comfort of any 4 star hotel.

Upscale but could be better !!!

This hotel could be a little misleading. It is classified as a 5 star hotel in Santiago, but in the US it would get only 3 stars. The rooms are very average, nothing really special in them. The location is great though !!!! and the hotel staff very helpful. The price is somewhat a tad high, but otherwise OK

Upscale lodgings

The Crowne Plaza is an upscale hotel. A short walk from the downtown attractions of Santiago.

Staying at the Crowne Plaza in Santiago one night. Is it convenient to walk in this area? If so what is there nearby?

Thanks

It depends at what time. The Crowne Plaza is downtown, so I'd avoid walking at night. If you want to go somewhere at night, you better take a taxi from the hotel.

Yes, but by day it's within easy walking distance of all the principal historic buildings etc.
