Best Hotel in Santiago!
by Uluwatu
The best hotel in all of Santiago! Very Cool place with unique architecture. The restaurants on the premises are awesome. The buffet was one to die for ! Also the Sushi restaurant in house is great as well!

wow experience
by crazyman2
Fabulous architecturally, the Hyatt was stunning inside and out! The room in which we stayed was great: a split level with the sofa, desk and armchair near the panoramic window; the large, comfortable bed was on the upper level. The B & O tv was cool and there was a CD player in the room too. The mini-bar was well-stocked, the bathroom (separate toilet and separate wash basin areas) was immaculate.
A huge, shaped pool surrounded by gardens and terraces outside.
Several restuarants and a pub all within the hotel. We tried the Italian restaurant and the food was yummy! Try the Parma ham!
A good wine list too ---unless you're wanting something beyond South America!
My only concern was the service: it took a while for the room service and also the table-waiting was not as I had hoped ---but I was on holiday....and I did have time.......
Unique Quality: as above

Excellent facilty, friendly staff
by Seanholio
I stayed for only two nights, as my local contact had me move to a hotel closer to the office. I was completely satisfied with my stay at the hotel, and the staff was more than accomodating of me and my lack of mastery of the Spanish language. The room was comfortable, well-laid out, and met my needs as a business traveler.
I did not make use of the fitness center.
The meals were excellent, both tasty and filling for a gringo such as myself, but probably expensive. I did not notice the cost because I was expensing everything.
Unique Quality: Great views, excellent accomdations, friendly staff.

Vey good 5 star hotel
by rodrigo_echeverri
I stayed here for 2 nights in July 2006. The room was excellent with a VERY beautiful view of the mountains. Service was outstading while we were there.... they always went beyond my expectations.
I also stayed at the Marriott hotel a few days later and I really don't think they are comparable to Hyatt even though they are also a big 5 star hotel... Hyatt gives you a much more personal feeling in their service than Marriott... at least that was my experience.
I got a corporate fare, which was very good but this hotel is not cheap. However, everything here is about the best you can find. Breakfast was outstading just like you would expect in a country where food is delicious almost everywhere.
The only problem I had with this hotel is that I have never gotten an answer from them using the email address that is published on their web page.... I had to actually call them to get my reservation made.

Sofistication in Santiago
by Maberk
This hotel is located in a nice part of Santiago (it's exactly centrally located though) and next to one of the main avenues of the city (Kennnedy Av.) It's next of an enormous shopping center called Parque Arauco, where u can buy souvenirs or just about anything you may want.
There are twoestaurants in the hotel, one is called Matsuri and serves delicious japanese cuisine and the other one, Anakena serves authentic food from Easter Island ( Rapa Nui)
Unique Quality: Next to a big Mall
Authentic Rapa Nui Restaurant
Beautiful pools
