the neighborhood, as said, is downtown. Busy streets, but my room was very quiet. While not in the trendy Providencia area with the expensive cafes lining the street and posh shops that remind you of the USA this location gives you a real feel for the city.
Because the suites seemed to be a good value, we booked one. wow. It was very nice, especially since it was about $200us. not just an over sized room, but a luxury room. Completed with a doorbell for your room door, a full living area, stereo system, mini bar, and with a huge marble bath with a deep tub, double sinks and plenty of space. While everything was not brand new it was done with class and thought. The same room in NYC would easily be $600 or more a night. I saw two of the suites and they were not cookie cutter suites. each seem to have different amenities but it's old fashion class at work.
