Panamericano Hotel

As I arrived a day earlier in Santiago then the group (for the 28 day Trans South America trip), I booked one night in this Panamericano Hotel.

I did choose this Hotel for its location, really in the heart of the city centre, and also because the price was reasonable.

I booked a single room, so the room was not so big, but ok for one person; the bathroom was super clean and looked modern. As I arrived quiet late in the hotel, I decided to eat at the hotel restaurant, which was a good choice.

Then late in the evening I made a short walk towards the Plaza de Armas which was just a few blocks away.

Next to the reception there was an internet room, but there was no connection (can happen . . .)

Unique Quality: The location, good restaurant with international dishes

Directions: Hotel Panamericano is located in the heart of the centre of the downtown area of Santiago, just a few steps away from the Government Palace and a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas.
