Our first stop on our South American journey is going to be Santiago. Flying in from Sydney. So we want it to be a good first impression.
What would be a good area to stay. Safe and close to all the main attractions.
We are looking for an international standard hotel.3/4 star would be good. Up to about USD80 P NIGHT.
When we have been there a while we will move onto another place.
Thanks for your suggestions.
Well Santiago its a big city and very diverse.
Mybe the best option in the downtown, because you can cach the subway to go everywhere, but I do´nt know when do you plan to be here, now the downtwon its not vey nice.
Then I recomebnd you to stay in Ptovidencia, or Las Condes.
If you need a guide of hotels, let me know I can search for you and give you the references ok.
Stay in Providencia, for sure.
I recommend the Hotel Santiago Park Plaza, though this may be above your budget.
If you make it to Buenos Aires, I'd suggest you contact www.saintmartinsq.com - email@example.com
They offer great services, including any travel arrangements within Argentina.
Take care and good luck!
If you want a good impression, try staying in El Bosque are in Las Condes. There are some hotels nearby, the sybway is quite close, there are lots of pubs and restaurants nearby, and the area is quite nice.
