    A nice little gem

The rooms are adequate size and very clean with modern bath facilities including hairdryers, soaps, shampoos, etc.

What sets this nice little hotel apart from most other hotels is the Front Desk staff. At all times, one could count on an English speaking representative manning the front desk. They were helpful beyond description, always asking if there was anything else they could do. They would assist with maps, point out places of interest, and would even make calls for you to get you started out right. They even stored our luggage for several hours after we checked out, so that we could do more sight-seeing, and then had a taxi standing by for our departure to the airport.

They are very well located, and within a block (150 meters) of the underground metro system which is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of riding on. Santiago's transportation system is world-class, and far better than anything in the United States. There are many exquisite restaurants nearby catering to almost any culinary taste. After having spent nearly a month in Chile, I can honestly say that I can't remember having a meal that wasn't well-prepared. Every restaurant served eye-catching dishes that were tasty and not horribly expensive for any budget.

Finally, the breakfast which is included in the room rate is fit for a king. The selection of items is too long to recite. Suffice it to say there are eggs, meats, cheeses, toast, pancakes, muffins, jams, desserts, hot and cold cereals, etc, etc. I dare you to leave there hungry!

We stayed here twice this trip and both visits were equally great.

Unique Quality: Close to transportation that can whisk you to anywhere in Chile.

Wifi on the premises, so you can use your laptop in your room or use their computers in the lobby.

Nice garden area to relax in or eat meals in.
