Hostal Lluhay: Traditional & Cozy Hostal in Ancud

The nicest and cozy atmosphere you can find in Ancud. Great food - specially sweets! Very nice and warm bedrooms. Superb breakfast included!
Definitely I do recommend Hostal Lluhay, the perfect balance between, cost - quality and family atmosphere, just blocks from Ancud downtown and a beautiful view over Ancud Bay and Pier.

Nice & warm bedrooms, great view and excellent breakfast.

a rose in the garden..

This rose would be very proud if it knew how beautiful it is...
It's in the garden of a guesthouse. There are more in this place. There are trees and spacious rooms with romantic views! It is really clean as it is a family house. The owners are polite and friendly. The bathroom are spotlessly clean. There is the option of having breakfast included or not in the price. The price was 10$US for a good double room.

I always prefer having views than anything else!
But in this case ..a rose was enough...!

Hotel Unicornio Azul: Nice building... but that´s all!

I just spent one day at the hotel, it looks very nice, but the building is very old. and you feel every guest going up and down, and is quite difficult to sleep, the furniture is also very old, the problem is to find a better place in the island...

Q: rent-a-car in Ancud or Chiloe "I am visiting chiloe from 27/10 to 31/10 I have found difficult to find where to rent a car in the island, preferably in Ancud...."

A: "public transport on the island is a little tricky but there are always taxis which aren't too expensive. i would rent a car in puerto montt where you'll likely have more..."
