Nice downtown Puerto Montt location
The hotel gives you a warm feeling as you enter the stately lodge like atmosphere with large open spaces. The staff was friendly and helpful with some English spoken. While the hotel is older it has been recently renamed to Gran Hotel Don Vicente they have refurbished and updated the spacious rooms and bathrooms. It was a very comfortable place to stay and within walking distance to a lot of shopping, restaurants, and the shoreline walkway.
Unique Quality: If you pop for the larger semi-suite rooms you get a small balcony. Ours overlooked the city square with a sea view which was nice.
