Puerto Montt to Puerto Varas Taxi Ride

What is the cost of a taxi ride from Puerto Montt to Puerto Varas?
Is it reasonalbe to rent a car in Puerto Varas and drive to the fishing location? If so, can you give information on the car rental agent? Or can a taxi take you to the fishing location and arranged to be picked up later in the day?

A taxi from Puerto Montt to Puerto Varas will cost about CLP$12,000 (abt 24 dollars at the moment).
I don't know what fishing location you mean. Where is it?

Hi! Taking a Taxi is possible but most for less than $2 you can take a local bus and they are frequent. Renting a car in Pto Varas or Pto Montt is possible. It is not very clear exactly where you want to go or what you want to see at a fishing village.

Chamiza : Iglesia - Church

Casi sin darnos cuenta llegamos a Chamiza que es un sitio maravilloso , muy verde con vistas de los volcanes , casas antiguas... , si estás cerca no te lo pierdas
Esta es zona de colonos Alemanes y dejaron sus huellas como la Iglesia Luterana , de 1900 , que tiene dos araucrias inmensas y un cementerio muy cuidado
Practically without noticing , we reached Chamiza that is a marvellous place , very green , with the volcanoes views, the old houses... , if you are near do not miss it
This is an area of German Settlers and they left their tracks like the Lutheran Church , of 1900 , that has two very big Araucarias and a very well kept cemetery
