I stayed with a family when I went to Zapallar in their beach house. Most of the beach houses in Zapallar are pretty fancy compared to baches back home though! It might be possible to find out if you can rent a place in Zapallar if you are interested in staying here over summer. I know my boss used to rent a place from time to time so it is possible. You would probably need to rent it though for the whole summer or maybe a week.

Unique Quality: It was so nice staying with a family. We played games and went for walks or to the beach. In the afternoon we would drink champagne on the deck and eat delicious seafood (ceviche or abalone on crackers!). I felt very spoilt!!
