Hotel Club Social

Angol has a shortage of cheap hotels. There were 3 mentioned in our Rough Guide: 1 was being renovated, another wasn't where it should have been :), while the third, Hotel Social Club, was the most expensive place of the lot, and at 30,000 pesos for a double, the most expensive place we've stayed in in Chile so far. We had a reasonable sized room overlooking the pool, with a TV and bathroom. Also included was a basic breakfast. For the price we paid we expected it to be a little better. There was a pool out the back but we didn't get a chance to use it as we spent the day in the National Park. Also, the hotel was hosting a wedding the day we visited, making it difficult to get to sleep.
