A Step Up From A Hostel..but a hostel

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on October 13, 2009

As experienced travelers in every aspect of various accommodations, this friendly hostel (using hostel, lightly) this was a great spot for everything. Being in our mid 30's, we knew what to expect. I brought ear plugs, which I recommend. If you want a place in a fantastic location, for $40 (own room/own bathroom) a night, then it's perfect. One downside for our room was that we had a miniscule padlock for our room and I squelched knowing my new Apple computer could be free for the taking. It was all good.

Unique Quality: Fireplace in the common area, open air atrium, TV room with DVD player, helpful staff, bar next door, many international travelers. Reach back to your inner 29's to really get this place. Clean but late night.
