Great location and friendly staff

The Hotel Saint Simon is located in the heart of Zona Rosa and the staff here was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price of the room (80 USD per night for a single room) and there are two computers with internet access for hotel guests. While Zona Rosa isn't really the "real" Bogota, it does provide a safe place to stay and a neighborhood that you can actually walk around in at night in relative safety. There are plenty of good restaurant options within walking distance and cabs are very cheap and easy to get (but always have the hotel or restaurant call one for you for safety).

The hotel has just enough character to make it interesting and the rooms were clean and modern with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds.
