Villa Babilla

Villa Babilla is a nice hostel. In my room three people could stay, two on the loft and one below. With only one person in the room I paid 20 000 pesos (August 2008). There was a bathroom outside belonging to my room.
There is a kitchen where you can cook and there is an area for relaxing with two hammocks and a TV (with BBC news among other channels). And they have laundry service and a safe deposite. It is a quiet place at night (if not the dog Scooby, and the dogs on the street, are barking). They are building two more floors on the house, so maybe there will be more rooms in the future.

Along the beach front in Tolú there are several hotels, but I don’t know how much they are. Someone I talked to stayed in a family home for 12 000 pesos. As I arrived at the terminal I was asked if I was going to Villa Babilla. I guess that’s where many of the foreign tourists stay-
